Trying to drink away the parts of the day I cannot sleep away
Its finally warm and sunny here in annfrankensteinland.
So nice, in fact a fellow at work here commented its so nice out today, it makes me want to get outside and go for a run.
And you know, I was thinking the same thing.
However, my thought was a little more like Its so nice out today it makes me want to get outside I wonder if the pretty ivy patio is open in the pub across from my apartment?
Pub. Running. Whatever.
I mean the point is you're outside, right?
Well at any rate, starshines, I hope theres sun and warm breezes in your agenda this summer.
Because, you know, I have a feeling. This summers gonna be a good one. Even with the superawesomeroadtrip to Seattle in jeopardy.
This summer Im just gonna lay low, let it ride and chill like Country Time lemonade.
Or something.
God, that analogy sucked. How do you people stand me? Eh, never you mind - I stick by my bad analogical decision.
What was I talking about?
Oh yeah. Summer. Its looking up, kids.
Especially since Old Navy has announced Capri Pants are again, in for yet another summer!
I mean. Thank God.
So, all of those Caprid ladies who invested a lot of time last year perfecting the most elaborate collection of Khaki, Ecru, Sage and Putty pants you are in luck!
Cept if Old Navy gets their way theyll dupe up into believing the only Capri worth wearing this summer is the New and Improved Old Navy Capri of Summer Break 02.
Which has a cuff.
Yheard. The year is 2002 and folksll have you believe a teeny-ass pant cuff is a necessary and fashionable improvement worthy of ditching a summers worth of perfectly good clothing just to be the top fashionista of the Buffy and Zach set.
I know. I dont get it either. But then again, I am not a big shopper.
But if you are truly concerned about being behind the fashion curve, please follow these simple steps:
Put on pants. Roll up bottom.
And baby, youre a star.
**Hey! Guess what - it was open. And I actually wrote this entry earlier at work today - but diaryland was down so I could not post this. Until now. When it was discovered outside drinkingareawasopen. In all that glorious blazing sunshine. Running? feh! I in fact, took full advantage of the outdoor beverages area. Which was nice because there were warm summer breezes and sunshine and stuff Which means it means I guess I have been drinking a lot. And stuff. Umm, yeah. Enjoy.
